Originally hailing from Massachusetts, I took a circuitous route to cermamics in adult life.  After college, I toured the east coast with a children's theatre company and spent a decade in La La Land pursueing fame and fortune (including a fun Super Bowl commercial!), before landing in Portland, OR for grad school and a life in clay.  Now a full-time artist and educator, I spend my days in the studio, traveling to fun destinations for shows or teaching community ed classes at PCC.  Although a self-proclaimed workaholic, I do manage to pull myself away from work to enjoy the PNW beauty by kayak, try new recipies, and hunt vintage treasures.
